GlobalSign has established a Worldwide Registration Authority Partner network and grants partners the right to issue digital certificates within a geographical region or community (business communities such as Chambers of Commerce, lawyers, doctors, etc) based on certain accreditation criteria. These partners can issue different types of digital certificates such as SSL Certificates, personal certificates (PersonalSign 2™ and PersonalSign 3™), and code signing certificates.

Select partners can establish localized presence to sell, vet and support SSL, code signing and client certificates. Partners meeting the requirements are then fully responsible for all aspects of the sale within their territory, including billing and vetting.
